Tea Blending expertise;

• Despite all tea deriving from the same species (Camellia Sinensis), there are a fantastic array of teas available from around the world, all with very different qualities. Being an agricultural product, tea is very similar to wine in that the quality and taste will vary depending on the micro-climatic conditions in which it is grown. This is often referred to as terroir; the influence that the geology, geography and climate of a particular place has on the taste of an agricultural product. The skill of blending is being able to recognise and work with these differences to create blended teas of stable quality, and most importantly teas that deliver excellence in terms of taste and appearance.
• Blends can be created to match your requirements, and could include;
  • Loose leaf or teabag
  • Flavoured or unflavoured
  • Green, black, oolong, pu-erh or white tea blends can be created
  • Fruit or Herbal tisanes can be created
• All teas and flavours can be sourced from my global supply base, or I can work with your preferred suppliers
• Blending teas ensures you retain an optimum product cost, with a stable product quality

• In addition to working as a tea consultant, I have a proven background in global commodities and packaging procurement. I have managed c.£120m packaging and commodities spend across sites located in UK, Poland, Switzerland, Thailand, China and Australia. I have a wealth of people management experience, having worked across geographical boundaries and hierarchies.
